Hi Ron,
Happy New Year to you and your family! We hope you are all doing well. Now that Ruby is one year old (and a very healthy and happy 20.6lbs), we wanted to send a note to give you an update.
Ruby was one of 8 mini Bernedoodles born to Summer and Deacon on December 22, 2017. She was 4.4 lbs when she came home with us in mid February 2018 at 8 weeks old. She slept through the night in her crate by her third night with us, and she was an eager learner and very easy to train. She quickly learned how to sit, give a paw, and stand by the door when she needed to go outside. We took her to 'Puppy Kindergarten' class at a dog training and obedience school, where she was a star student. ;)
Ruby loves to go for long walks, to play fetch and other games in the backyard or at the park, and she's also quite a good and natural swimmer! She's also cool with hanging out with us at home, curling up beside us while we watch a movie or hockey game.
Ruby is very friendly and sociable, both with humans and dogs. (She'd also LOVE to befriend our backyard squirrels if they'd just let her get close enough!) She is great with kids (we have three of our own and a revolving door of visiting friends), and she is always eager to meet new people.
We may be slightly biased, but we also think Ruby is exceptionally cute! She has lovely Bernese Mountain Dog markings and a sweet face. She has literally stopped traffic more than once while we have been out walking with her, as people have tried to ask about her as they drove by, or pulled over to get out of their car and meet her. We always recommend you to Ruby's admirers who'd love a dog 'just like her' with her perfect size, beautiful markings and friendly demeanor. They are also often interested to hear that she is hypo-allergenic and non-shedding. I am allergic to dogs and cats, but Ruby doesn't give me even a hint of a sniffle.
Ruby has been a wonderful addition to our family, and she is loved and adored by all of us. Thank you for your help in bringing her into our lives. We are very grateful!
Best wishes,
The Beasley Family
